Daniel Knorr is one of the most innovative conceptual contemporary artist of his generation. The Romanian artist usually employs materials such as casts of hot poles and smoke materialising elements of daily life and the effects of natural events giving a shape of the foundation of the modern industrial age: streets and architecture. Emptiness, representation, and fantasy are recurrent themes in his artistic practice.
